In movies, Mary and Joseph are depicted riding a donkey on their journey to Bethlehem. No matter how they arrived, we can be sure it was a long, challenging trip. They were surely filled with uncertainity about where they would sleep and where the baby would be born. They had to be patient and allow things to happen in God’s timing. How will you intentionally slow down and wait on Christ?
Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, … to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Luke 2:4-6
LOVE this! Trying to be intentional about slowing down to focus on our Savior.. it’s challenging for sure.
