FOR TIPTON
We are committed to becoming witnesses of Jesus Christ in “Jerusalem” – our community. Some of the ways we serve Tipton County are:
Rock the Block
An annual partnership with the Town of Atoka, this free event draws thousands of people to Walker Park for games, music, rides, food, and fireworks.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
We are so excited to bring VBS back to Gateway Atoka this year for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade! You can find more information and register here by clicking the heading link. If you would like to volunteer to help, you can do that, too!
SNAG
SNAG is the Munford Parks and Recreations Special Needs Athletic Group. Gateway members serve as “Buddies”. Buddies are a vital part of the success of SNAG. Every SNAG player is assigned a Buddy for each game. The Buddy is there to protect the player from balls, assist the player in batting, running the bases, and to be a friend on and off the field.
Serve Our Schools
We love our schools! We serve the students, teachers, and administrators in various ways like prayer-walking, landscaping and construction, and even serving meals.
Greet and Treat
Halloween is a great time to serve our community. Some members greet their neighbors from home as they pass out candy. In 2022, we had a great time putting on a Trunk or Treat event in the parking lot! Check back for more information regarding Halloween 2023!
Celebrate Christmas
After the Munford Parks and Recreation tree lighting and parade, Gateway members serve hot chocolate and offer photos with Santa.
Gateway also has several ongoing missions that extend to the community.
Embrace Ministries
As the body of christ, we join together to support single pregnant moms, single moms and single dads. Our goal is to support these women and men as they choose life for their baby, whether keeping or placing for adoption, and raising their precious children. We support them emotionally and spiritually. Our aim is for the church to be the first place anyone turns to during an unplanned pregnancy or single parenting. We are seeing lives saved and generations being changed.

Wonderfully Made
We are all fearfully and wonderfully made.
This is a community for families, friends and individuals with special needs. Wonderfully Made is an intentional way for the members of Gateway in Tipton County, TN to minister to and serve with special needs families. We connect in a Facebook group to encourage and equip each other. You can find out more here: https://gatewaytipton.com/welcome/nextsteps/grow/ministry/made/
Grief Share
This is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. This group is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
This group creates semesters irregularly (based on need), so you may want to contact the church to ask about the next session.
Fostering Love for Tipton
Gateway loves families. We know that families take many forms in Tipton County. Not all children live with their birth parents, many live with foster or adoptive families.
This group supports Foster and Adoptive Parents, through community gatherings, training certification classes, family events, and other fun stuff. There is also a private FaceBook group, Fostering Love for Tipton.
