Hope.

If you have ever been through a sever trial or faced an insurmountable challenge, then you know how important that single, little word can be. As long as you have hope, you can get through almost anything. it’s when you lose hope that live becomes unbearable. Peter wrote a letter to some people that were losing hope. It is found in the book of I Peter. He says that they were “distressed by various trials”. In fact, he told them that in the middle of their great trial, they did indeed have hope. He actually told them that they could “jump for joy” in spite of what they were going through. That hope was in an event and a person. The event was the resurrection. The person was Jesus. The same hope promise by Peter so long ago is also available to us today. Have you lost hope? Are you ready to give up?

Never forget that there is hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
