If you had to sum up 2014 in one word, how would you describe it?
Unbelievable?
Joyful?
Successful?
Sad?
Tragic?
Frustrating?
Challenging?
Maybe this was the greatest year ever for you, or maybe it was full of hard situations and long days. You might be glad to see 2014 go, or maybe you want it to last a little bit longer. Either way, it is about to come to a close. Every year, we get a little bit nostalgic at the end of the year, and we wonder what the New Year will bring. Indeed there will be things that will happen in 2015 that will be out of our control. . .both good and bad. However, our decisions will have a lot to do with how the New Year goes.
In fact, every person needs to have a strategy for the New Year. We need to make up our minds about a few things before 2015 is upon us! The Apostle Paul wrote some incredible words of encouragement in the book of Philippians that give us a perfect strategy not just for 2015 but for life in general. Today, we will look at these verses and make up our minds to live differently in 2015 and beyond.
