What a year 2019 has been! No doubt some have had the greatest year ever, while others are glad to see it go. Whatever the case, the new year is a time of looking back and making evaluations. It’s a time of celebration and a time of facing failures as well.
Sometimes it seems like we have the same solutions every year, doesn’t it? I want to lose weight this year, or I want to read the Bible more this year, and many others that we seem to repeat over and over again. Yet, somehow it seems like we never really find the consistency and peace that we really desire.
Spiritually, it seems like real growth and maturity evade us year after year. The Apostle Paul in Romans 12:1-2 gave us a solution to this great struggle for change and progress in our lives. Over the next few weeks, we will see that it is possible to start over. It’s possible to see lasting change and deep transformation in our lives.
