What to Expect

We know that choosing a church can be a tough decision. You may be looking to find a place to develop life-long friendships and relationships; or for a relevant message addressing concerns in your life; or maybe you’re looking for a church that has ministries for everyone in your family. Whatever you are looking for, we believe we can be an encouragement to you and your entire family no matter where you are in life’s journey. If you’re looking for a church family, join us for one of our worship services. Here are some things that will help you prepare. We look forward to meeting you!

Weekly Services & Times

 Atoka: Sunday 8am & 10:30am
Munford: Sunday 10:30am

There are also Life Groups who meet together for Bible Study throughout the week. For more info, visit our groups page.

When you arrive on campus…

…look for our visitor parking spaces near the front door. Once inside, you  will be welcomed by our greeters who will direct you to the worship center as well as answer any questions you may have. In addition, they will offer to show you our adult classrooms or our student and children’s ministry areas.

 Our dress code….

…is whatever you feel comfortable in! You will see people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to slacks and dress shirts.

If you have a child…

…you are welcome to bring your child into the worship center. We also provide an age-appropriate learning experience in a supervised nursery with skilled and loving caregivers. We want them to understand just how much joy and adventure there can be in studying the bible and following Jesus.
We offer volunteer-led teaching care for babies thru Pre-School age. If you are checking in children between nursery and Kindergarten, we will take your family’s information and issue security tags for each of your children.
The Atoka campus offers a worship service for children age Kindergarten thru 5th grade.

As you enter the worship center…

greeters and ushers are available to assist you if you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an usher to request assistance. As a first-time visitor to Gateway Baptist Church, you are our guest. We don’t expect you to contribute in the offering. Feel free to sit back, enjoy the music, and relax as the offering plate is passed.

During each service…

we welcome our first time guests. We won’t put you on the spot or call you to the front. We’ll provide you with any information you need, and we ask that you fill out and turn in the information card to help us keep record of your visit with us.

After the service…

you are invited to meet the pastors in the worship center. We look forward to answering any questions you may have.
