The Women’s Ministry at Gateway is special. There are many opportunities to connect with other women and grow in your faith. From mentoring, to marriage retreats, to conferences and studies, it is one of Gateway’s most active ministries of edification and outreach.
The highlight of the year for women’s ministry is the annual Christmas Banquet which routinely fills our worship center with women for a beautiful and meaningful night. The 2018 banquet is scheduled for November 16. Table reservations and ticket purchases will may be made in the worship center.
W.omen of the Word (W.O.W.) Each week women come together to journey through the Bible, to share life together, to pray, and to encourage one another. W.O.W. draws on God’s Holy Word and HIs Holy Spirit to impact our families and friends, our church, and the community for Christ.
W.O.W has existed for 8 years. The group has explored many books of the Bible (Revelation, Ecclesiastes, and Job to name a few), several topics (the Names of God, the Ten Commandments, et. al), and many Christian-based Bible study series and books.
W.O.W. longs to be Jesus’ hands and feet in this world by helping meet the needs of the downcast and the poor. W.O.W. partners with PCS in Covington as well as with individuals as needed.
W.O.W. isn’t just a Bible study, it’s the Word in action through women devoted to Chris.t
W.O.W. meets on Wednesday night (except the 1st week of the month, which is OASIS) from 6:30-7:30p.m. in room S102. Women of all ages are invited.
