FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE ON CAMPUS?

Look for our visitor parking spaces near the front door. Once inside, you will be welcomed by our greeters who will direct you to the worship center as well as answer any questions you may have. In addition, they will offer to show you our adult classrooms or our student and children’s ministry areas.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Come as you are. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in! You will see people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to slacks and dress shirts.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We have excellent care and teaching for babies thru pre-school age.  It’s safe and secure, and they’re going to have a great time learning about Jesus in an age-appropriate learning experience with skilled and loving caregivers.

If you are checking-in children, we will take your family’s information and issue security tags for each of your preschool-aged children. We also offer a worship service for children age Kindergarten thru 1st grade during the 9:30 service and 2nd thru 5th grade during the 10:45 service.

We offer class for youth at 8:15 and 9:30 am. Additionally, youth sit together during the 10:45 service.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AS I ENTER THE WORSHIP CENTER?

Greeters are available to assist you if you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions.

The Next Steps desk is located inside the main entrace to the worship center and also able to answer questions.

WHAT IS GATEWAY'S WORSHIP STYLE?

Above all, our aim is Christ-centered worship. To that end, we use a variety of genres – old hymns, new hymns, contemporary worship songs – to exalt the Savior. We use a band and vocal team weekly, a choir occasionally, and the “feel” of a worship service is more contemporary than traditional.

WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?

We don’t expect guests to contribute to the offering. Feel free to sit back, enjoy the music, and relax as the offering plate is passed.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SERVICE?

Your are invited to meet the pastors in the worship center. There is a “Next Steps Desk” inthe back of the worship center at each campus. Our friendly volunteers will be happy to help answer any questions you may have.
